Exact Online Connector

Odyssee Service easily integrates with Exact Online through the Exact Online connector to maximize your performance.

Advantages

Odyssee Service connects with all Exact Online versions: Accountancy, Wholesale and Manufacturing in two directions to speed up customer billing by

  • Automatically generating the customer invoice based on the consumed hours and materials on a work order.
  • Automate maintenance contract invoicing based on the contract invoice rules set in Odyssee Service (preventive maintenance).
  • As a Business to Consumer Company manage your customer mobile payment as indicated on the Work Order.
  • Manage your spare part van- or onsite inventory allowing your technician to consume spare parts from a designated stock location.

We have developed an off-the-shelf connector with Exact online. Just your Exact email and password are enough to setup the connection. If you are using more than one Exact domain, you can choose which one to connect with Odyssee Service.

What is interfaced?

Accountancy (from standard to premium)

Optimize your billing flow like this:

  • Customers are synched to Odyssee Service. Work order locations are automatically created.
  • Parts (or articles), including prices (optional), are synched to Odyssee Service
  • Use a part as time and link this part with an hour type in Odyssee Service
  • Odyssee Service will sent completed work orders back as a pro forma invoice, mentioning used parts and time as articles. Even the work order reference and technician remarks will be mentioned on the pro forma invoice. In exact you can confirm the pro forma to a real invoice.

Wholesale (from standard to premium)

Optimize your sales order and spare parts management, as well as you billing processes like this:

  • Customers and spare parts are synched to Odyssee Service. Work order locations are automatically created.
  • Pricing and stock locations, including stock levels, are synched to Odyssee Service. Each technician will have his own stock location (van stock)
  • Use a part as time and link this part with an hour type in Odyssee Service
  • Sales orders in Exact become work orders in Odyssee following the filter, ready to be planned.
  • Odyssee Service will sent completed work orders back as sales orders to Exact Online, mentioning used quantities for parts and time, as well as the stock location to substract the parts from. Even the work order reference and extra remarks will be mentioned on the sales order. In Exact you can transform a sales order to an invoice.
  • Note that if you don’t use stock locations, you can get back pro forma invoices as well, just like in the Accountancy version.

Manufacturing (from standard to advanced)

How does it work?

The Exact Online connector is an off the shelf connector with easy to follow configuration steps. It is using the standard Odyssee Service interface. You only need your EOL login and password to setup the connection.
